We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
By placing an order or using this website, you acknowledge this policy. Where the law requires your consent (for example, marketing), we ask for it separately.
1. What we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number.
- Order details: items purchased, order value, order history, and payment confirmation (status, transaction ID). We do not store your card, bank or UPI credentials. Payments are handled by Zoho payments.
- Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, Instagram or phone about orders or enquiries.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring URLs, collected through cookies and logs.
- Reviews or photos, if you choose to submit them.

3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only as needed with:
- Website and hosting platform: Zoho Commerce, which stores store and customer data.
- Payment gateway: Zoho payments, to process your payment.
- Courier and logistics partners: Indiapost, Delhivery, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
- Analytics and advertising tools: Google Analytics / Meta Pixel / Zoho Analytics.
- Messaging services: WhatsApp, SMS and email providers, to send order updates.
- Authorities, where required by law, court order, or to prevent fraud.
Only authorised staff who need it for their work can access customer data.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Some are set by third-party tools listed in Section 3. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store (such as the cart and checkout) may stop working.
5. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on our platform provider's servers, in India, as stated by Zoho Corporation Private Limited. Some third-party tools may process data outside India.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS encryption, access limited to authorised staff, and payment processing through secure gateways. No system is completely secure. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we share it with.
- Correct or update inaccurate data.
- Erase your data, except records we must keep by law (Section 6).
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link, replying STOP, or contacting us.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or cannot act.
- Raise a grievance (Section 10).
To make a request, email support@sabrang.in with your name and order number. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we respond within 15 days.
8. Children
This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, as provided under the DPDP Act, after first using our grievance process.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page with its "Last updated" date. If we make a significant change, we will tell you on the website or by email.
