1. About us

This website is operated by "Sabrang ethnic boutique" trading as "Sabrang" located at Opp. Head Post Office, Vadakara, Kozhikode DT, Kerala, India - 673101, GSTIN: 32ABPPV3056M1Z3. Sabrang sells carefully curated sarees and ethnic wear online and through our store at Vadakara. Contact details are in Section 14.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract to place an order. If you are buying as a gift, the person placing the order is responsible for it.

3. Product information

• We make every effort to show colours, designs and details accurately. Actual colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting and photography.
• Handwoven and handcrafted products can have minor irregularities in weave, texture, zari or colour. These are natural to the craft and are not defects. What counts as a defect is set out in our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.
• Product descriptions, measurements and images are provided in good faith and are for general guidance.

4. Pricing and payment

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes and shipping charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Prices may change at any time. The price shown when your order is confirmed is the price you pay.
• Pricing errors: If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, and we will tell you promptly.
• We accept prepaid orders only. Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Discount codes and offers are valid only for their stated period and conditions, cannot be combined unless stated, and have no cash value.

5. Orders

• Your order is confirmed only after successful payment and an order confirmation from us. Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm it.
• Because we also sell in our physical store, an item may occasionally sell out before your order is processed. If it does, we will tell you and either offer an alternative or refund you in full.
• We may cancel or refuse an order for stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud or misuse, or an unserviceable address. Any payment received is refunded to the original payment method within 7 working days.
• Customer cancellation: You may cancel before dispatch by contacting us. Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled.
• We may limit quantities per customer, particularly for limited-piece designs.

6. Shipping and delivery

Shipping, delivery timelines, undelivered orders and lost parcels are covered in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Delivery times are estimates. Please give a complete and accurate address, and see the Shipping Policy for what happens if delivery fails because of incorrect details.

7. Returns, exchanges and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed entirely by our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. If anything in these Terms conflicts with that policy on returns, exchanges or refunds, the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy prevails.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including images, photographs, logos, product descriptions, graphics and text, belongs to Sabrang or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or use it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. You may share our product links and images on social media for personal, non-commercial use with credit to Sabrang.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Try to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
• Interfere with the website's operation or security
• Provide false or misleading information, including false payment details or a false identity
• Use the website to buy for resale without our written consent

10. Reviews and customer content

If you post a review, photograph or other content, you confirm it is genuine and that you own it. You give Sabrang a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on our website and social channels. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive or misleading.

11. Liability

• We are responsible for the products we sell being as described and reaching you in good condition, as set out in our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy.
• To the extent permitted by law, Sabrang is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from your use of the website or products.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
• Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded.
• We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

12. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Please read it before placing an order.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version is posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date and applies to orders placed after that date. Orders already placed are governed by the Terms in force when you placed them.

15. General

• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Return, Exchange & Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Sabrang regarding your purchase.
• A delay in enforcing any right is not a waiver of that right.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your right to approach a consumer commission or forum under consumer protection law, disputes are subject to the courts at Vadakara, Kerala.
